The majority of switch-mode power supply amplifiers with the output of the Infinite X6 might only use a PSU up to 4KVa, but Void’s testing showed serious limitations from employing an SMPS with little or no headroom. Therefore the X6 makes use of a supply capable of delivering nearly 8KVa, ensuring that peaks and transients can be handled with ease.
The Infinite X series also uses a class AB mosfet output stage, which offers the highest fidelity sound reproduction along with a tried and tested reliability.
